Manual temperature records are difficult to track, easy to lose, and often fail to give management a clear view of food safety compliance. Hotels need a reliable way to monitor supplier delivery temperatures and buffet holding temperatures throughout service.
The Temperature Monitoring System digitizes the full temperature control process, allowing hotel teams to record receiving temperatures, buffet temperatures, responsible staff, supplier details, invoice numbers, expiry dates, comments, and audit history in one centralized system. Every receiving and buffet temperature record is saved permanently in a centralized database, reviewed by hotel management daily, and made accessible on the hotel network to Receiving, Kitchen, F&B, Quality, and Management according to operational need.
Receiving and F&B teams submit operational records to a centralized SQL Server database through a Node.js REST API. The system stores supplier, invoice, item, expiry date, meal period, timing, temperature, staff, and comments as long-term operational data for filtering, auditing, exporting, daily review, and HACCP compliance tracking.

Hot, cold, and dessert buffet items are checked at opening, after 1 hour, and after 2 hours for each meal period.
Permanent database records can be filtered by supplier, invoice, meal period, department, status, date, and exported for HACCP inspection.
All submitted temperature records are stored in a centralized database, giving hotel management and concerned departments daily visibility over receiving and buffet food safety compliance. This creates a reliable audit trail, improves accountability, and ensures that temperature records are accessible whenever needed for operational review, supplier follow-up, or HACCP inspection.
Unsafe frozen or chilled products can be rejected before they enter hotel storage or production.
F&B supervisors can identify unsafe hot, cold, or dessert items quickly during service hours.
